Pavlovian Rhubarb

The Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov conditioned his pet dog to expect a treat every time the he rang a bell. Eventually all Ivan had to do was ring the bell to get the dog drooling.  We have been conditioned to think that Rhubarb is a fruit because we associate it with sweet desserts and just the mention of a rhubarb pavlova should be enough to get you drooling.

Pomo d’oro
