I packed a whole whack of stuff in the book, but somehow it wasn’t big enough to hold everything. So this blog will bring you all the extra bits and pieces that you won’t find in the book. Including loads of recipes, photos and all kinds of other stuff.

I like to draw. So, I went to the Capilano College Graphic Design and Illustration Program to become an illustrator.

I Like to cook. So I went to the French Culinary Institute in NYC, to learn how to cook.

Shelley, the editor at Swerve Magazine liked my drawings and cooking, so a few years ago we came up with this fun idea of doing an illustrated food column with recipes.

Then a cookbook publisher called Whitecap liked the idea of making it into a cookbook. So we came up with Kitchen Scraps:  a humorous illustrated cookbook.

Lately I’ve been working on this blog, drawing lots of pictures for cool clients, writing/drawing a regular column for Swerve Magazine, teaching some cooking classes at the Cookbook Co… I’d sure like to make some more books, but maybe next time Jamie Oliver could write the recipes and I’ll work on the drawings.
