Pierre A Lamielle is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in NYC and the Capilano College Graphic Design and Illustration program.

He is author and illustrator of Kitchen Scraps: A Humourous Illustrated Cookbook and winner of the prestigious World Gourmand best Illustrated Cookbook award in 2009.

You can find him in Calgary, Alberta teaching classes at the Cookbook Co or read the Easy Cook column in Swerve Magazine Fridays with the Calgary Herald. He also has a penchant for designing food inspired t-shirts.

He is currently working on an Alice in Wonderland Cookbook with a co-author Julie van Rosendaal.
