When life gave Maximillian lemons, he not only made lemonade, he created an empire.

At the age of 5 Maximillian LeMone started a lemonade stand, two years later he had perfected his million dollar lemonade recipe and before his tenth birthday he bulled his way onto the stock exchange and started the rapid climb making him the youngest CEO to run a Fortune 500 company.

The CEO and founder of Million Dollar Lemonade (MDL on the stock exchange) has seen steady growth through the bulls and bears.

The elusive CEO and founder of Million Dollar Lemonade is now revealing the recipe that made him the youngest entrepeneur in the history of the game.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
6 lemons, zest and juice
5 L sparkling water

PROCEDURE

Using a really sharp peeler, peel off the outer layer of the lemon. Try to avoid the white part as best you can. Place the peels in a small pot.

Add water and sugar to the pot, bring to a boil and simmer until the sugar dissolves. Remove the pot from the heat, add the lemon juice, cover and let it steep and cool until room temperature.

Strain out the lemon peel and transfer the liquid gold into a bottle with a cap. Cover and keep the syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

To make the lemonade simply combine 1 part syrup with 5 parts sparkling water. This ratio can be adjusted to suit your taste buds.

Now go out and start making some serious cash!

  1. I really like the idea of adding the zest. Would also be delicious if one combined the zest of several other fruits to make other related drinks too.

(A little gin probably wouldn’t hurt either!)
